Walmart Inc changed its name, and Sam's Club's to offer free shipping

After 47 years known as Wal-Mart Stores, the world’s largest company dropped “Stores” from its name and stepped up its e-commerce push in competition with Amazon (AMZN) and other rivals. The change went into effect on February 1, 2018 as shown in Walmart's latest Form 10-K filing.

Reading the filing changes PDF Document  against the annual report filed last year, we can find lot of interesting information. For example, Walmart indicated the change to Sam's Club membership to better compete against Amazon.com, as well as peer competitors Costco: (Brown color indicates the content removed, green color indicates the new contents)

Free shipping is the new normal of the retail business?

    Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
